Voices in Bioethics Podcast: Human Rights
with Susie Hughes (Co-Founder and Executive Director of ETAC)
Susie Hughes joins Anne Zimmerman to discuss forced organ harvesting from prisoners of conscience in China. Forced organ harvesting refers to the state-sponsored killing of prisoners of conscience in China to supply organs for transplantation. Many victims are Falun Gong practitioners and Uyghurs. Susie explains the evidence brought forth at the China Tribunal and touches on strategies to bring attention to human rights abuses and prevent complicity. Human rights due diligence strategies are set forth in a legal advisory and policy guidance by Global Rights Compliance.
